The salon has been in Bildeston since 1966, when it originally opened as Michael Hair Care. It became Studio 66 in 2014 and although the name has changed, the team is mostly the same.
It became Studio 66 as it was the year I was born and the year the salon opened in Bildeston village, so it became a fitting sentiment.
We only sell products that we use on our clients in the salon which include Schwarzkopt, sprays, moose and spray gels. We also have a select Revlon product range.
Our colours are by Infiniti and our perms are Goldwell, Scharzkopt and Loreal, depending on the clients requirements.
We have a repertation for being a family friendly salon with our customers praising our team work effort. It's more than just a hair do when our clients come in. We don't just cut their hair, we care about our clients and we're all very good listeners.
We cater for wheel chairs also with a ramp to get into the shop and a forward facing basin for the clients that find a back wash basin a bit uncomfortable.
We also have plenty of room for prams and buggys so mums can bring their little ones with them whilst they're having their hair done.
We introduced a credit card machine when the salon became Studio 66 which has been a big asset to the salon for when clients are having a big job done like foils with a cut and blow dry or perms.
